Not sure where, but it sure is steep, ain’t it?!
Pretty sure this is Carter Notch. We climbed up that rocky ridge on the other side after having lunch at the Carter Notch Hut down in the gap.
Yep, you’re right. You can see the roofs (rooves?) of the different hut buildings down below. And that pond that the trail skirted around.
