Thanks so much to my friend and fellow photographer, Ber Murphy, for sending me this link. It is what we’ll be seeing for the next few months, though we’ll be seeing it a bit slower — say around 2 miles per hour.

Way cool, Melissa! I envy you that you’re going on this trip! Oh, WAIT! That’s right… I’m going too! (If I knew that video was available, I wouldn’t have bothered with all the books I read!)
Nice video, was that time-laps photography,or a helmet cam riding on a dirt bike?
Although it doesn’t really matter how that video was made, now that I saw it,I won’t have to walk all that way like you are going to do Mike.
Hope you don’t have any Bear encounters, just kidding,be safe.
don’t watch that after drinking lots of whiskey….. trust me….
That was nice. Some of the trail looks really cool but I’m not sure I could handle all of the deep forest.

When the hike is visually compressed, as in this video, one can better appreciate the sheer variety of landscapes and natural beauty you will personally be encountering. We’re getting more excited along with you as the start of the trip gets closer.
Go Mel and Mike!
Wow! Now I’m even more jealous although I’m not sure about some of those rocky ledges!!
Wow…great video. Gives us “wimps (me)” an idea of what I’m missing. Be safe.
